Michael Andres is a renewable energy expert with over 15 years of international experience, including a decade in the on- and offshore wind industry. Most recently Michael was Head of Turbines and Site Assessment at Corio Generation (Macquarie Group), where he led global teams across wind turbine engineering, site selection and optimisation, energy yield, metocean, LCOE, and GIS to drive project development, diligence, and investment readiness. Prior to this he held senior roles at Macquarie’s Green Investment Group and their Acacia Renewables platform in Japan, managing large-scale wind portfolios across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. Michael holds a masters degree in mechanical engineering from The University of The Philippines.
