Deepak Chinnapa
Global Service Lead - Strategy & Commercial Advisory
Deepak is a Partner based in our Hamburg office and leads the firm’s global strategy and commercial consulting practice. He joined Brinckmann in 2021 having spent more than a decade in the renewable energy sector within research and consulting. Deepak brings strong industry know-how and advises companies across the renewable energy value chain. Within consulting, Deepak advises a string of companies such as Asset Owners, Developers, Institutional Investors, PE Funds and Supply Chain Players, present across the value chain on key topics across the energy transition landscape. He has extensive experience in supporting companies on commercial due diligence work covering component and service-related M&A opportunities and provides analysis on the market and technology-related forecasts, asset owner strategies, and policy and regulatory developments. Prior to joining Brinckmann, Deepak worked as a Managing Consultant in Wood Mackenzie’s power and renewable business where he provided advisory services covering the wind, solar PV, energy storage, and power markets. In the past, he also worked in the wealth management divisions of Citibank and JP Morgan Chase in India. Deepak holds a B.SC in Business from St. Josephs College of Commerce in India and an MBA from Aarhus University, Denmark.
Lars Hedemann
Global Industry Lead - Energy Infrastructure & Green Fuels
Lars is a Founding Partner at Brinckmann, a CoralPoint company. He co-founded Brinckmann in 2018 after having spent 8 years in the wind energy business. He is a commercial energy infrastructure specialist with more than 10+ years of experience with deep industry insights across Wind, Green Fuels and Energy Transmission. Lars leads the firm’s Green Fuels and Energy Infrastructure chapter and has been engaged in both areas in a Renewables context since 2019, advising on both product, project and system level. He is specialised in the Commercial and Regulatory areas of energy transition. Lars has built up his experience by working with and advising a wide range of companies, such as Asset Owners, Developers, Institutional Investors, PE Funds and Supply Chain Players. His work has been anchored within new market entry, valuation and modelling, acquisition and contracting, and commercial optimisation. Prior to founding Brinckmann, Lars has been working in corporate, Siemens Wind Power, as well as consulting, K2 Management. Lars holds an M.Sc. in Strategy, Organization and Management from the Dept. of Business and Social Sciences at Aarhus University. In addition, Lars has spent four years in academia as a Doctoral Researcher in the field of International Business and Marketing.
Lee Clarke
Partner
Dr Lee Clarke is a Partner and leads on Corporate Development activity for CoralPoint. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the energy industry, with a broad range of executive management, commercial, operational, and strategy experience. Lee is an expert in market analysis, commercial strategy, and business building and transformation. He has a proven track record in directing large, complex, and multi-disciplinary teams and projects. With experience spanning both major investor-owned utilities and within the consultancy sector, Lee has held multiple energy industry leadership roles and has led some of the largest renewable energy development projects. This includes serving as project director of a complex, international offshore wind joint venture. In addition to renewable energy development, he has extensive experience in corporate strategy, energy markets and policy, corporate affairs and regulation, and power project mergers and acquisitions. Dr Clarke has also led corporate venturing activities, launching significant new businesses within large corporations. Consultancy assignments have included commercial support to equipment suppliers, leading technical due diligence, and providing strategic advice for new market entry. Dr Clarke also has experience serving in the public sector, holding a senior energy markets role within a multilateral international agency. Dr Clarke trained as a geologist and is also qualified to post graduate level in environmental impact assessment. He is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London (FGS) and a Professional Member of The Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (MIMMM). He has attended business and executive leadership courses at Warwick Business School, IMD Switzerland, and ESMT Berlin.
Emilie Reeve
Co-CEO
Emilie Reeve is a Co-CEO based from our corporate headquarters in Basingstoke (UK). She brings a wealth of experience to CoralPoint, having worked at the cutting edge of offshore wind globally for over a decade. She was most recently CEO of Kontiki Winds, a Norwegian offshore wind developer, and previously Director at The Renewables Consulting Group, where she burnished her reputation as an offshore wind expert by advising various government ministries, offshore wind developers, and development banks on how to create and accelerate their offshore wind markets. Having served as Technical Director to The Crown Estate for UK offshore wind Round 4 tender, acting as the technical lead to the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry on Round 1 offshore wind leasing, and serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the US National Offshore Wind Research & Development Consortium.
