CoralPoint announces three key hires to support business growth plans
February 5, 2026 – Basingstoke, UK – CoralPoint, the global business and sustainability consulting firm dedicated to the energy transition is today announcing the appointment of three new team members across Finance, Corporate Development and People functions. To underpin the next phase of the firm’s growth.
Renewable energy industry leader, Lee Clarke has joined the firm as a Partner, where he will oversee business systems, corporate development, including the firm’s inorganic growth plans, alongside client-facing strategy advisory work. Prior to joining CoralPoint, Lee served as Managing Director for Sustainable Energy Systems at a private-equity backed geoscience, environmental, and technical services firm, supporting renewable energy, carbon capture and storage, geothermal energy, hydrogen, and interconnection projects globally. He brings deep senior leadership experience across both consultancy and industry, including a long career with RWE.
Sophie Kramer has been appointed as CoralPoint’s first Group HR Director, bringing extensive experience from global professional services and energy businesses. She previously supported ERM’s Global Renewables team as Lead HR Business Partner, following various HR roles at Grant Thornton, Siemens Energy, and Johnson & Johnson. In her new role, Sophie will provide overall leadership and strategic direction for all aspects of CoralPoint’s people agenda, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and diversity initiatives.
Jake Holmes has joined the Finance team, based at our headquarters in Basingstoke. Jake will provide support across various aspects of our finance activities, including financial control, analysis and reporting, and accounts payable and receivable. He previously worked as a Finance Assistant in the manufacturing industry and is currently studying for his ACCA qualification. Jake’s appointment reflects CoralPoint’s commitment to developing emerging talent and strengthening our internal pipeline for future finance leaders.
