Eric Briar has been appointed as Chair of the Board and Sebastian Chivers as Strategic Advisor to the Executive Committee, and a member of the Board of CoralPoint International Limited (“CPIL”) – the groups ultimate parent company.

Eric’s executive management experience spans over four decades from his early career as a Marine Superintendent with Sealion Shipping to serving as Managing Director of consultancy SeaRoc (part of Natural Power), and then Founder and CEO of Manor Renewables. Most recently Eric has held senior leadership roles at OEG Energy Group – a leading provider of offshore energy services which was recently acquired by Apollo Global Management. Eric served as Managing Director of OEG Renewables leading the growth strategy including multiple successful acquisitions.

Sebastian brings over two decades of experience and a proven track record in building renewable energy and sustainability consulting firms. Before joining CoralPoint, Seb was Managing Partner and Global Co-Lead for Renewables at ERM, the world’s largest sustainability consultancy. Prior to ERM, he founded and served as CEO of The Renewables Consulting Group (RCG), a global market intelligence, management consulting, and technical advisory firm which was acquired in 2021. Seb will provide strategic direction to the CoralPoint executive team and help them to shape the vision and long-term growth plan.

Both appointments are effective from from September 1st. Eric and Seb will both be based from CoralPoint’s corporate headquarters in Basingstoke, UK.
