We are seeking a Partner, Solar & BESS M&A Lead to join our M&A services group, based in the US. Our headquarters for the US and the Americas region is in New York City.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Identifying opportunities and fostering strong relationships with our clients, shaping and delivering solutions on solar independent engineering and due diligence scopes of work.
- Lead business expansion strategy for solar and BESS M&A services at CoralPoint.
- Collaborate with business development and senior leadership to scope proposals, define deliverables, and build client relationships.
- Lead technical due diligence projects for utility-scale solar and BESS assets.
- Provide technical oversight of project documents: design drawings, equipment specifications, interconnection studies, project agreements, construction monitoring reports, performance tests and others.
- Contribute to internal process improvement, training, and mentoring of junior staff within the Independent Engineering team.
- Coordinate and oversee technical specialists (civil, electrical, structural, energy modeling, storage, environmental) to deliver high-quality, bankable reports under tight deadlines
What you’ll bring
- A strong interest and passion for the energy transition and sustainability principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (Master’s or PE license preferred).
- 8+ years of relevant experience in the renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years in Independent Engineering or Owner’s Engineering for large-scale solar and/or BESS projects.
- Proven track record managing technical due diligence for financing or M&A transactions in the U.S. market.
- Proficiency with MS Office, PVSyst, and energy modeling tools
- Proven leadership skills and excellent organizational capabilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear deliverables for non-technical audiences
- Perform work as an individual contributor whenever able
